First off, congratulations to Glenn Close for her second lead actress Emmy win. Close is the first back to back lead actress winner since Kathy Baker in ’95-’96 (for Picket Fences). Well deserved.
Damages producers have started to announce cast members for season three. Some big names will be joining: Campbell Scott, Martin Short, Lily Tomlin and Keith Carradine. Carradine should be fresh from his repeat performance on Dexter season 4. Close, Rose Byrne and Tate Donovan will all be returning.
No word on what characters they’ll play, but Scott and Short will be regulars, and Tomlin and Carradine guest stars.
Production on season 3 began this September 23, with episodes premiering in January 2010.
