…well there’s not really any love for Tara on this episode. I mean, all of the girls are on mission: “Eliminate Tara”. They literally had a Tara bash party, while she listened in the hallway. It’s painfully obvious that Tara is not going to ever be serious but Ocho is madly in love with her cutesy look and carefully placed blonde extensions; who could ever resist her annoying corny jokes? Do I sound as bitter about her presence as I should? Welp… the love, nonetheless, comes from a mini reunion with his closest boys and brothers who basically interrogate all of the girls to get to know the “real” them. Right off the bat, I know Tiphani is going to be terrible because isn’t it obvious? She has no personality, she’s boring, and she just looks so confused about her true feelings. I could really go on and on about poor Tiphani but I think she’s just wasted potential. Tara got no love from the boys and the other girls kept it all the way real when it came to her. On the other hand, Brittany got much love from the boys and Rubi came off as super serious about him.
Ocho did get the hint and finally had a reality check when he had another one-on-one with Tara. He FINALLY gave her the boot after she continued to just play around when he shared his feelings about her. Brittany mysteriously gets really sick after the reunion *sideeye* which I don’t think is a coincidence; she must’ve knew something else big was coming up and indeed it was. The girls actually meet Mama OchoCinco and she does not play. She grilled Tiphani and Rubi with question after question and poor Tiphani yet again does not stand a chance. Mama even called Rubi out on her “Floozy” wear.
Eliminations come down to Rubi and Tiphani and the decision is completely obvious. Tiphani had to go. Not because his family and the Terminator (Mama) didn’t like her or feel like she was the right girl for him but because I don’t think she could realistically hold his attention for that long. She’s a very interesting girl when she’s talking one-on-one with the camera but she doesn’t really know how to communicate those same feelings to him, his fam, or even, his mother when you know you are really supposed to pull out all of the stops; which, makes me ultimately question whether those words were even real. The fact is the finals are the best picks for him: Rubi, who he really just needs to bang and no real connection with vs. Brittany, who he is feeling on more ways than uno. What adds extra spice to this last BATTLE is the fact that these two girls are the most buddy-buddy of all the girls so its definitely going to come down to the 2-point conversion.
